The Victron Energy VE.Bus Smart Dongle adds Bluetooth monitoring and control to compatible Victron inverter/chargers and inverters equipped with a VE.Bus port. Using the VictronConnect app, you can review system information, monitor operating status, view warnings and alarms, adjust the AC input-current limit and switch the connected unit between On, Off and Charger-only modes.

The dongle also measures battery voltage and temperature. This information can be shared with the connected inverter/charger or other compatible Victron products through VE.Smart Networking, allowing the charging system to compensate for cable voltage loss and changes in battery temperature.

The VE.Bus Smart Dongle is compatible with Victron Multi, MultiPlus, MultiPlus-II, MultiGrid, MultiGrid-II and Quattro inverter/chargers, as well as Phoenix Inverters equipped with a VE.Bus port. It provides a compact monitoring option for RVs, boats, mobile systems and smaller installations that do not require a dedicated GX monitoring device.

Please Note: The dongle can monitor and operate supported inverter/charger functions, but it cannot configure the inverter/charger’s internal settings or update its firmware. A standard RJ45 UTP cable is required for the VE.Bus connection and must be purchased separately. The optional external battery temperature sensor is also sold separately.
