The Victron SmartShunt 300A is a compact, all-in-one battery monitor designed to track your battery’s performance without the need for a traditional display. Instead, it connects wirelessly to your smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth and the VictronConnect app, giving you full access to real-time data such as voltage, current, state of charge, power history, and time-to-go.
With a current capacity of up to 300 amps, the SmartShunt is perfect for monitoring 12V, 24V, or 48V systems in off-grid, marine, RV, or backup power installations. It’s a popular alternative to the BMV-712 when you want to reduce wiring and keep your setup clean and minimal.
In addition to Bluetooth, the SmartShunt also features a VE.Direct port for connecting to Victron GX devices such as the Cerbo GX. It includes an auxiliary input that can be used to monitor a second battery (like a starter battery), temperature sensor, or battery bank midpoint.
