The Victron Energy Orion-Tr Smart 12/12-30A (360W) Isolated DC-DC Charger is designed to charge a 12V service battery from a 12V starter-battery and alternator system. It provides adaptive three-stage charging, galvanic isolation, built-in Bluetooth, and automatic engine-running detection for professional vehicle and marine installations.
The isolated design electrically separates the input, output, and enclosure, allowing the starter-battery and service-battery circuits to use separate chassis grounds. Charging settings and operating information can be accessed wirelessly through the VictronConnect app.

The Orion-Tr Smart 12/12-30A is well suited for motorhomes, work vehicles, boats, emergency vehicles, and other dual-battery systems that need controlled charging between two 12V electrical systems.
Important: This charger requires proper cable and fuse sizing on both the input and output sides. The Orion-Tr Smart does not have a VE.Direct port, and VictronConnect does not display its input or output current. Bluetooth is used for configuration, status information, and firmware updates.
