MultiPlus-II 12/3000/120-50 2x120V (UL)

The Victron Energy MultiPlus-II 12/3000/120-50 2x120V (UL 458) is an inverter/charger designed for North American 50A mobile electrical systems. It combines a 3000VA pure sine-wave inverter, a 120A adaptive battery charger, and a 50A transfer switch in one unit.

The MultiPlus-II 2x120V can accept either a 120/240V split-phase source or a single-phase 120V source. When connected to split-phase shore or generator power, it passes both lines through to the electrical panel, allowing compatible 120V and 240V loads to operate. With a single-phase 120V input, it supplies 120V to both sides of the panel.

When operating from the battery, the inverter supplies 120V to both lines. It does not produce 240V while in inverter mode, preventing high-power 240V appliances from unnecessarily discharging the battery bank.
