The Victron Energy Orion-Tr Smart 12/48-8A Isolated DC-DC Charger provides controlled charging from a 12V electrical system to a 48V service battery bank. It is designed for vehicles, boats, and other dual-battery systems where a starter battery or alternator supplies power to a separate 48V battery system.

Built-in Bluetooth allows the charger to be monitored and configured through the VictronConnect app. Its isolated design keeps the input and output grounds separate, while automatic engine-running detection helps prevent the charger from draining the starter battery when the engine is off.
